Statement of Purpose
The Felicia M. DeLorenzo Scholarship Foundation provides deserving high school graduates who reside in the Town of Arlington with financial assistance for their post-secondary education. The scholarships are awarded to applicants who demonstrate Felicia’s qualities, including a strong work ethic and commitment to community. Scholarship winners for the upcoming school year are announced in June and payments are made directly, generally in two installments, to the educational institutions.

“Advocating for yourself in college is essential because you are in control of your decisions, and if you avoid asking for help, it only hurts you more in the long run. It is easy to feel isolated, and no gets what you are going through, but professors and other school staff are available for help. You just have to seek them out.”
